A native of California’s Central Coast, Adam Dale has built his career around a deep connection to the land and a passion for growing, building, and creating exceptional outdoor spaces.
Adam is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he earned dual degrees in Enology and Viticulture. His education provided a strong foundation in plant science, soil, vineyard management, agriculture, and the production of premium wine, while his years of hands-on experience have expanded that knowledge well beyond the vineyard.
Adam’s background in viticulture and enology led to opportunities working with vineyards, private ranches, and estate properties throughout the Central Coast. His interest in plant health and responsible stewardship also led him to obtain his Pest Control Business License, Pest Control Advisor (PCA) license, and Qualified Applicator License (QAL).
Those experiences became the foundation for Homegrown Horticulture and The Wine Growers, where Adam provides vineyard, orchard, garden, pest management, and estate services.
Homegrown Havens Building Co. is the natural extension of that experience.
As a licensed and bonded C-27 Landscape Construction contractor, Adam brings together his understanding of plants and the land with hands-on construction and landscape installation. Rather than viewing a landscape as simply a collection of plants and structures, he considers how everything works together—from the soil and irrigation to the plants, hardscape, architecture, and the way people use the space.
Today, Adam approaches each project with the same philosophy that has guided his work from the beginning: treat every property as if it were his own.
Whether building a custom landscape, installing a fence or deck, creating an outdoor living space, managing an estate garden, or developing a vineyard or orchard, Adam is committed to thoughtful planning, quality craftsmanship, honest work, and attention to the details that make a project exceptional.
Homegrown Havens represents the culmination of Adam’s experience in construction, horticulture, pest management, viticulture, and enology—bringing these disciplines together to create thoughtfully designed spaces that are built to last and connected to the unique character of the Central Coast.
